In Loving Memory of Edeltraut Weiß.

Seahorses are small marine fish. Famous for their extravagant and horse-like appearance, their scientific name is equally fascinating. "Hippocampus" comes from the Ancient Greek word hippókampos (ἱππόκαμπος), derived from híppos (ἵππος) meaning "horse" and kámpos (κάμπος) meaning "sea monster" or "sea animal". The Hippocampus, according to Greek mythology, was the original form of the horse created by Poseidon.
Artistically interpreted in shape related/cross hatching and pointillism technique.
