About the Artist

Tom Weiß, also known as Don White, was born in 1997 in a town in the Bavarian part of the Bohemian Massif. He hails from a lineage of artists, whether it's porcelain painting, photography, or classical visual fine arts. At the tender age of four, he first picked up a pencil and became engrossed in the world of fine art in all its forms, a passion he has steadfastly nurtured for over two decades.

Upon graduating from the Technical College of Arts in Weiden at the age of 20, he faced an artistic low that nearly extinguished his interest. However, the final words of his grandmother before her passing served as a guiding light, urging him never to forsake his passion: a promise he earnestly made to her – to never stop drawing.

His journey led him to Nürnberg in 2019, where he reignited his enthusiasm, particularly during the challenging times of the Corona lockdown. In 2022, he took his love for art to new heights, culminating in the pivotal decision to offer his art for sale.

In the autumn of 2022, we find ourselves immersed in his inaugural business venture, his Arthouse.

As 2023 unfolds, he is steadfast in pursuing his ambitions. He engages in freelance work as a photographer, continuing to expand his Arthouse, and embarking on his most significant endeavor yet: to witness his own artworks proudly displayed in his own exhibitions.
